Just talk.
The text writes itself

Your meetings get recorded with no bot on the call, then turned into a transcript, decisions and action items. In any other app, speak instead of typing. One Mac app, free for now.

Key points

Shipping on Thursday works if sign-in is fixed by Wednesday.

Decisions

We ship on Thursday.

Action items

  • Ilya: fix sign-in, tomorrow
  • Anna: test everything, Wednesday
  • Me: write the announcement
An example: names and text are made up, and the windows are simplified.

No bot on the call

The audio is captured on your Mac. Nobody extra appears in the participant list.

On your Mac

Transcription and dictation work offline. The cloud comes in only if you choose it.

No account

There is no sign-up. Recordings stay as ordinary files in your folder for as long as you like.

Stay in the conversation. The notes take care of themselves

Look at the person, not at your notepad. When the call ends you get a transcript, decisions and action items.

Notices the call

A call takes the microphone and the app offers to record. No answer in 20 seconds and that call is not recorded. You can also record without being asked.

Stays out of the way

While recording, all you see is a narrow strip at the screen edge, even over a full-screen call. You can read the text as the meeting goes.

Transcribes on your Mac

Speech recognition downloads once during setup and then works offline. Cloud transcription is there if you want it: the audio then goes to the service you picked.

Works out who said what

You and the others are on separate tracks, and the app fills in names from the conversation and your calendar. Click a timestamp to play from that moment.

Writes decisions and action items

Key points, decisions, action items and open questions. The AI you choose writes it: our server with no key or subscription, Claude, ChatGPT or a model on the Mac itself. You can rewrite the instructions.

Easy to find again

Home shows meetings by day and what is coming up in your calendar. Search covers the titles and text of every meeting. Each recording stays an ordinary folder on disk.

Speak instead of typing

Hold a key, say the phrase, let go. The text appears wherever your cursor is: in email, chat, a document or a code editor.

Works wherever you can type
Email, chat, documents, a code editor. No plugins: the text goes into the field your cursor is in.
Almost no wait
On an M4, a phrase of up to 8 seconds is recognised in about 0.1 seconds. Use a key or the button at the screen edge.
Knows your words
Add names and terms to the dictionary and the app writes them correctly.
Tidies the text
Turn on clean-up and an AI adds punctuation and drops filler words. It only gets the phrase’s text, never the audio. While clean-up is off, the text never leaves your Mac.
All about dictation

Works with any call

And with meetings in person: press Start recording and the app records the microphone.

All features

Your recordings stay yours

By default the audio and the transcript never leave your Mac. For summaries, the meeting text goes to the AI you chose. If that AI runs on this Mac, nothing leaves at all.
