Roadmap
These are intentions, not promises: there are no dates, the order can change and some of it may be dropped. What already works is on the features page.
Next
We know what to do and why.
- Installing without a macOS warning
- Today macOS stops the app on first launch and you have to allow it in Settings. Signing and checking by Apple would remove that step.
- Dictation snippets
- A short spoken phrase expands into prepared text.
- Dictation styles per app
- Text can sound different in email and in a team chat.
- Editing a selection by voice
- Select some text and say what to do with it.
- Paid plans
- Everything is free during the beta. We will describe the plans separately and in advance.
Being worked out
There is a design, but no decision yet.
- Calls started on a phone
- A phone cannot record its own call. We are looking for an honest way to get such meetings into the app too.
- A Windows version
- The app is Mac-only today. We are finding out what a Windows version would take.
- Summaries on the Mac with no setup
- Without an AI of your own, our server writes summaries today. We want them written on the Mac itself, and are testing what can do it well.
Ideas
Deciding whether they are needed. Your vote can settle it.
- Easier folders
- Drag and drop, and choosing a folder from the meeting title or participants.
- Dictation statistics
- How many words you dictated and how much time that saved.
- Pausing music while you dictate
- Music goes quiet while you speak and comes back by itself.
